MANILA, Philippines — Actress and singer Alexa Ilacad has confirmed the end of her love team partnership with KD Estrada after resharing an official statement from their fan group, KDLex International Sweethearts.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Ilacad thanked supporters who stood behind the pair throughout their journey together.

“I am truly grateful to all the Sweethearts — more than you will ever know. I will forever cherish and remember everything you have done for me and KD from the very beginning: the sacrifices, the heartaches, the laughter, and all the beautiful memories and bondings we shared ,” Ilacad wrote.

She added, “And no matter who you choose to support, as long as RESPECT REMAINS, I will continue to love and appreciate all of you. Thank you for all the love, unwavering support, and kindness you have given me and KD. We will always carry that in our hearts.”

The statement reposted by Ilacad said KDLex had “decided to part ways as a love team due to the circumstances, external factors, and the people surrounding them,” while emphasizing that the respect, care and friendship between the two remain.

Estrada has yet to release a separate personal statement as of posting time, but he also reposted the same announcement on his official Instagram account.

The pairing of Ilacad and Estrada began during their stint as housemates in “Pinoy Big Brother: Kumunity Season 10,” where their chemistry quickly gained attention from viewers. After the reality show, the two starred in several projects together and built a loyal fan base known as the “Sweethearts.”

Rumors of a possible falling-out began circulating last year after the pair were rarely seen together in public appearances and online content.

Despite the end of the pairing, both stars continue to pursue individual careers.

Ilacad hosted previous seasons of “Pinoy Big Brother” online and earned praise as a contestant on “Your Face Sounds Familiar.” She is also currently part of the vertical drama “The Chambermaid’s Daughter” alongside BGYO member Gelo.

Estrada, meanwhile, has focused on theater work and recently portrayed Arnel in “Bagets The Musical.”
